Aaaah good old denial! There isnt much twist to this part of the story though, he really did kill someone and that's that, even if he thinks he didnt 
I suppose the interesting bit is the moral implication. When the story gets so far as to really explain what happened, I'd like to hear people's opinions on the subject. I'm very objective in how I approach Devin's situation, and undecided about whether he deserves to go to jail or not.

and - haha, I can empathise with writing this sort of story all too well - as you know ^_^
It's a delicate subject, though there's a really interesting difference between Devin and Cortland in that Devin seems sure he's innocent, but is in the system... whereas Cortland carries the weight of his guilt constantly, but as a 'free' kid. I look forward to seeing how you and Dev progress!
